NeuroRecovery Center

This specialty care hospital was renovated from a Ronald McDonald house into a much-needed NeuroRecovery center for the city of San Antonio. This center cares for adolescents with brain or spinal cord injury, as well as those with co-occurring behavioral, mental, and physical health needs.

This facility hosts 25 private and semi-private inpatient rooms in addition to a variety of amenities across 2 floors. Transitional suites were designed for families and caregivers to learn and practice skills so they  can confidently care for their loved ones at home.

The behavioral suite was designed with anti-ligature elements and anti-barricade doors for a safe and secure rehabilitation space.
