BBQ Cookoff Celebration!

THR3E Design launched Us Against Them as more than just a friendly competition between Contractors and Architects, it was created with a greater purpose: to support and inspire the next generation of leaders in the design and construction industry. Our journey has been incredible, and we’re proud to celebrate this milestone with our community.

At the heart of this event is a commitment to education. We believe in the transformative power of knowledge and strive to highlight the essential role education plays in shaping the future of our industry.

Beyond the celebration, Us Against Them is driven by purpose. We are dedicated to funding scholarships and investing in emerging talent who will carry our industry forward.

The inaugural event in 2022 was a tremendous success, raising $25,000 to establish a scholarship endowment at the Texas Tech University Huckabee College of Architecture. This endowment continues to support students pursuing careers in architecture.

Building on that momentum, the 2023 event was equally impactful, raising an additional $16,000. These funds helped establish another scholarship endowment at the University of Houston Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design, as well as support WorkTexas, benefiting our construction industry workforce.

To date, Us Against Them has raised over $170,000 since 2022, directly investing in the future of our industry.
